The Music


Passion for the activity and the music that drives it, is what compels me to write, and I believe is at the heart of my work. I have a love of melody and believe that it is the heartbeat that drives my programs to be powerful, innovative, and yet familiar. 

The goal of every one of my arrangements is to put the show in the audience's lap and to give them a gift that they can walk away humming. That is the ultimate reward for me as the arranger, but more importantly, for the performers and the audience who pays to be entertained.

Custom arrangements and compositions are written to the exact instrumentation and skill level of the performers for maximum performance and effect. They are the most time-consuming but give you the most control over the results.

If you are pressed for time or have budgetary constraints that make a custom designed approach unworkable, I have pre-designed music that can be made available to you at modest cost and with an immediate turnaround. I can also modify pre-designed materials to fit your unit's instrumentation or unique programming needs. This hybrid approach is much less time-consuming and therefore less costly than custom arrangements or compositions, while allowing you some creative control of the results.

For marching arrangements, I collaborate with some of the top percussion arrangers in the activity to give you the very best marching musical effects.
